The History
Even before Broadway St. was Broadway St. there was a wild wild western style saloon operating out of these four walls with a horse stable in the back and two western saloon doors as an entrance. The history is rich.
In 2019, the entire building was gutted and reassembled to try to keep as much of the old charm as possible. In the old days, there really was a mirror on the wall behind the whiskey so the bartender could avoid getting robbed while grabbing a bottle. That exact same mirror hangs on the wall today.
The Cooperage is open to the public and also leasable for special events. Experience Frankfort’s history!
Open to Public - Wednesday - Thursday (4pm - 10pm), Friday & Saturday (6pm - 12am)
Private Events - Sunday, Monday & Tuesday (10am - 10pm)
From the 1930’s vibe, to the selection of spirits.. we’ve got it all.

There are several TV screens in each room so come and watch your favorite game, or turn it off and relax in one of our sitting rooms.
